Suggested Materials:
Sparkle Tree (K5442), Soft Green Shadow Ink (AF142), Black Dye Ink (AF101), Lace Ribbon (CH231), Light Green Accent Pearls (CH174), White and Cream Art Flowers (CH165), Felt Snowflake (CH162), unbleached muslin, Glue Arts adhesive, pinking shears, stuffing material, gold cord, scrap felt, sewing machine or thread and needle. Video: Stamped Fabric Ornaments

Watch Sally create a handmade fabric ornament or follow the directions below.

  1. Using green ink, lightly ink unbleached muslin to add color.
  2. Stamp Sparkle Tree in black ink on muslin and allow to dry.
  3. Attach Lace Ribbon along bottom of tree with Glue Arts Fabric Bond adhesive (cartridge for the Glue Glider Pro.) Heat with an iron.
  4. Stitch along the two sides of the tree, adding a loop of gold cord as you sew, which will be used for hanging your finished ornament.
  5. Stuff ornament and tuck in a felt trunk before stitching along the bottom.
  6. Trim with either plain or pinking shears, and embellish with flowers, snowflakes and gems.
