One Stencil, Two Ways

Happy Monday everyone!!! It’s Isha here, guest designing on the blog today. I am so very excited and honored to be sharing my cards. :) Thank you, Hero Arts for having me here and for giving me this dream come true opportunity! I am so happy and to be honest, it still feels like a dream. My first and only stamp, when I started stamping was a background HA stamp 3 years back. I joined the Flickr group and have to tell you that this group is full of not only talented but also very helpful and nice ladies, some of which I am proud to call friends now. :)

So, for today’s projects, I used one of the new stencils from the Starry Nights catalog, Arrow Pattern (SA017). Stencils are so in trend for quite some time and it’s so much fun playing with them. On both cards I used the stencil as a mask and stamped through the openings. To give two different effects, I outlined the stencil on the first card and sponged ink through the stencil on the second card.

Find out how to make these cards - click for complete supplies and instructions.

Below are some step-by-step photos to show my process for card #2:

The Arrow Pattern stencil and the rest of the new products from the Starry Nights Catalog will be in the Hero Arts Online Store tomorrow.

Thank you for joining me here today and have a wonderful day!

Both are great cards, but I absolutely am LOVING card #2!!! Such a cool effect, looks like the feathers are behind the stencil, so much dimension in one layer! Great job guest designing, I would love to see your work here again :)
